Penarth Marina is an ideal location from which to explore the coastal waters of South Wales in the Bristol Channel with its many fishing marks. The Bristol Channel has a reputation for superb fishing in its fast flowing silty waters.
The Bristol Channel is renowned for its Cod Fishing, not to mention the excellent Conger, Bass, Rays, Smoothounds and Tope fishing.
The Cod season tends to start at the end of August and runs right through to the middle of May, with the best time being October to January, then again in March and April which is generally known as the spring run of fish that feed up before they move off into the Irish sea for the summer.
As our fishing boat charter is a fast and seaworthy boat it can get the anglers to the numerous marks in the coast waters of South Wales quickly, providing you with more fishing time.
