Evolution 38 Fishing Boats
The Evolution 38 was designed back in 2000 by Paul Ching and Grahame Knott as a boat that would supercede the ageing Offshore 105 that has been a best-seller for many years. The Evolution 38 would be a boat that was affordable, economical to run and do every thing the 105 had done and much more.
In 2003 the Evolution 38 was introduced onto the market and after 4 years the Evolution 38 has proved to be a good solid and safe working platform withstanding all conditions the UK weather can throw at it.
The style and finish of the Evolution 38 speaks for itself, making it a brilliant fishing boat that can be used for pleasure and commercial use, also a perfect all round dive boat with stability tests proven in a controlled environment that far exceed any other boat on the market for its size.
There is also a smaller version - the Evolution 33 and the new Evolution 30 which is set to storm the market with its style performance and stunning looks.
The Evolution 33 was introduced in 2004, this boat is under 10m and has all the stability and good handling as its bigger sister the Evolution 38. There are two versions of the Evolution 33, a long wheelhouse or a short wheelhouse, the latter being more popular with the commercial skipper because it has more deck space.
The Evolution 38 has a 45° bow for a smoother ride that handles exceptionally well in all weathers.
With a flush deck has loads of room for all onboard. A walk in toilet straight from deck area is also available as an option.
Evolution range of hulls are professionally manufactured by Universal Projects GRP Ltd using a skilfully applied hand lay-up technique. Every process from the moulding through to the finished product is overseen by Paul Ching, who has designed, plugged, moulded and now makes the Evolution range.
Paul has been in the boat building profession since 1981 and has a vast amount of knowledge from pattern and plug making, mould making, laminating, engineering and fit out of boats.
